Make an Impact Beyond Direct Patient Care
This is more than a clinical role. As a Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor, you will serve as a leader, mentor, educator, and resource and trusted advisor while helping shape the future of integrated behavioral healthcare.
You will play a vital role in supervising and developing Associate Clinical Social Workers (ASWs) pursuing licensure and helping lead MCC's respected ASW Fellowship Program, which focuses on training bilingual and community-focused behavioral health clinicians.
In this role, you'll
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to ASWs and junior clinicians.
- Co-lead our Integrated Behavioral Health Fellowship Program.
- Co-teach engaging weekly training seminars and case discussions.
- Deliver evidence-based behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families.
- Collaborate closely with primary care providers and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Help advance innovative models of integrated healthcare delivery.
- Serve as a behavioral health expert and consultant across the organization.

What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, crisis intervention, and care coordination services.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions using approaches such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Seeking Safety, and other best practices.
- Support patients across the lifespan through both in-person and telehealth visits.
- Partner with patients and families to promote engagement, resilience, and improved health outcomes.
- Lead difficult clinical conversations with compassion, professionalism, and respect for individual backgrounds and experiences.
- Promote compassionate, patient-centered care t hat emphasizes strong therapeutic relationships.
Education, Training & Supervision
- Provide clinical and administrative supervision to ASWs and junior clinicians in accordance with California Board of Behavioral Sciences standards.
- Mentor emerging behavioral health professionals and support their professional growth.
- Co-facilitate weekly educational seminars focused on integrated behavioral health.
- Share expertise through consultation, training, and interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
- Support clinical quality improvement initiatives and best practices.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, onboard, and develop clinical staff.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and respectful, supportive, and collaborative workplace culture.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Support workforce planning, scheduling, and team operations.
- Ensure compliance with MCC policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Current California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience qualifying you to provide clinical supervision.
- Current BLS certification.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Ability to conduct psychotherapy assessments and interventions in Spanish.
- Passion for clinical supervision, teaching, mentorship, and staff development.
Preferred Experience
- Integrated behavioral health and primary care settings.
- Working with patients from a variety of backgrounds experiencing behavioral health, substance use, and social and economic challenges that affect health and well-being.
- Compassionate, patient-centered care and effective communication with patients from different backgrounds.
- Supervising pre-licensed clinicians.
- Electronic health record systems, including EPIC.
