Marin Community Clinics, founded in 1972, is today, a multi-clinic network with a wide array of integrated primary care, dental, behavioral, specialty and referral services. The Program Manager for Volunteers and Internships is responsible for organizing, leading, and coordinating the volunteer and internship programs that support the mission and operational needs of Marin Community Clinics (MCC). This role manages the full lifecycle of volunteers, interns, and other workforce/early career development participants—from recruitment and onboarding through placement, evaluation and continuing support. This role creates a positive and productive experience for all participants.
The Program Manager, Volunteer and Internship serves as a central point of contact, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal leaders, educational institutions, and community partners to ensure successful program outcomes. Working independently and in collaboration with managers and the Human Resources team, this position ensures the volunteer and internship programs are well-organized, compliant with regulatory requirements, and continuously improved through data analysis, reporting, and process optimization.
