Overview

As the Director, Behavioral Health Fellowship Training, you’ll have a unique opportunity to design and lead a transformative Fellowship Program that directly impacts the lives of Latinx communities. You will oversee a cutting-edge training curriculum that nurtures the next generation of skilled, culturally-responsive, and trauma-aware clinicians. You’ll guide Behavioral Health Fellows, supervise junior practitioners, and partner with our Clinical Programs Director to ensure the curriculum aligns with the latest evidence-based practices.

In this role, you’ll empower Fellows to make a lasting impact while building a pipeline of clinicians who reflect and understand the communities we serve. If you’re passionate about shaping future leaders in behavioral health and thrive in a dynamic, supportive environment, this is the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

Lead, Guide, Inspire:

  • Supervise & Mentor: Provide leadership and direct supervision to first and second-year Associates in Social Work (ASWs), Behavioral Health Fellows, and the Clinical Supervisor (LCSW).

  • Train & Cultivate: Design and implement an ASW IBH training program that is both comprehensive and aligned with the latest evidence-based practices in integrated behavioral health.

  • Elevate Care: Deliver culturally sensitive, trauma-responsive, and evidence-based treatment to patients (adults and children) with mild to moderate behavioral health needs, both in-person and via telehealth platforms.

  • Innovate & Refine: Continuously evaluate and update the training program based on feedback, assessments, and performance metrics to ensure it meets the evolving needs of stakeholders.

  • Lead Change: Stay at the forefront of integrated behavioral health trends, incorporating new technologies, training methods, and service models that integrate behavioral health into primary care.

Supervision & Development:

  • Build Strong Teams: Manage a team of Behavioral Health professionals, including the Clinical Supervisor and junior practitioners, fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

  • Recruit & Onboard: Collaborate with recruiting teams to attract top talent, participate in interviews, and ensure a smooth onboarding process.

  • Empower Staff: Provide regular performance feedback, set clear goals, and ensure team members have the support and resources needed for ongoing professional development.
