Marin Community Clinics, founded in 1972, is today, a multi-clinic network with a wide array of integrated primary care, dental, behavioral, specialty and referral services. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we provide vital health services to almost 40,000 individuals annually in Marin County. The Clinics regularly receive national awards from the Health Resources and Services Administrations (HRSA). We are seeking a skilled Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in attracting and retaining exceptional employees. 

 

The Talent Acquisition Manager position has a vital role in attracting and retaining exceptional employees. This position is responsible for seeking out top talent, developing compelling advertisements supporting our employment brand and fostering a positive relationship with candidates, employees, and community partners. The Talent Acquisition manager will lead our recruitment efforts, collaborate closely with recruiters, hiring managers and the HR team, to ensure a seamless recruitment process. The Talent Acquisition Manager provides full cycle recruiting and ensures positive candidate experience. In addition, this position will oversee the effective utilization of our ATS, coordinate third party recruitment relationships and optimize our use of advertising platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure talent acquisition activities are consistent with organization's policies and service standards.
  • Ensure candidate pipelines are sufficient to meet workforce needs.
  • Lead employment branding initiatives, partnering with marketing and leadership to ensure consistent messaging that reflects our mission and vision.
  • Perform recruitment for open positions (Requisition, screening, interviewing, and background checks and other onboarding activities).
  • Maintain a broad understanding of MCC workforce needs and knowledge of healthcare and the local labor market.
  • Assess external labor market conditions, develops the most effective, economical, and appropriate sources/channels and methods to recruit talent.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates, recruitment agencies, schools, and associations.
  • Train and advises hiring managers on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Create recruitment materials and process documentation to ensure an effective and legally compliant interview and onboarding process.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.
  • Participate in Clinical and Administrative staff meetings and HR Department meetings
  • Manage, support, and develop recruitment staff.
  • Use metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement.
  • Manage applicant tracking software ensuring full optimum utilization and workflows.
  • Train recruitment team and others on effective use of system.
  • Develop job descriptions and write and place effective and compelling employment advertisements and post internal job announcements.
  • Establish and maintain recruitment records, reports, and budgets
  • Organize and/or attend career fairs, assessment centers or other events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experienced:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employment branding.
  • Experience working in and recruiting for healthcare.
  • Experience leading or supervising other recruitment staff.
  • Experience with iCIMS Applicant Tracking System strongly preferred.
  • Familiar with and experience with utilizing LinkedIn, Indeed and other recruitment platforms.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to execute short-term tasks, while maintaining progress on long-term goals.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of state and federal HR laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and web-based communications.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
  • Valid CA driver’s license. May be required to travel to other MCC clinics.
