Marin Community Clinics, founded in 1972, is today, a multi-clinic network with a wide array of integrated primary care, dental, behavioral, specialty and referral services. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we provide vital health services to almost 40,000 individuals annually in Marin County. The Clinics regularly receive national awards from the Health Resources and Services Administrations (HRSA). Our Mission is to promote health and wellness through excellent, compassionate care for all.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Marin Community Clinics! Our clinics depend on volunteers who generously give their time, free of charge, supporting our medical and dental clinics. Volunteers may choose to volunteer at any of our clinics in San Rafael, Novato and Larkspur.
Please note that due to the high number of applications we receive daily we are unable to reply to everyone with status of their application. We have limited number of opportunites, but we do our best to place volunteers in different areas of the clinics.
Covid-19 vaccination requirements:
All employees are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including "health-care" required boosters as a condition of employment, subject to limited exemptions. New employees are required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and boosted before the first day of employment. If you completed your primary series early boosters,but have not received the most recent booster,you will be required to get the most recent booster and mask until completed if hired.
When completing the online application, please make sure you answer all the screening questions as this help us to better understand what you are looking for. Once we receive your application and screening questions, we will then distribute to our Clinic Directors at our various clinics. If opportunities and spaces are available, you will be contacted by one of our staff members.
Interns/Externs/Volunteers/Contract Providers perform assigned tasks directly by the clinic or medical directors.
