    Marin Community Clinics is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), the largest in Marin County. We serve 35,000 patients annually. We offer a multi-clinic network with a wide array of primary care, specialty services and Dental services. Dentist handles all aspects of general dentistry. Diagnoses and treats patients consistent with his/her training and expertise. 

     

    Work schedules available:

    • Day shift: 8:00am to 5:00pm
    • Evening shifts: 5:00pm to 9:30pm
    • Weekend shifts: 8:00am to 5:00pm
    • On call - per diem

    Responsibilities

    • Delivers high quality care to patients of all ages.
    • Responsible for providing preventative dental care and clinical dental services in a community health center setting.
    • Uses Dentrix softwares system and digital Dexis X-ray.
    • Uses NextGen softwared electronic health records system.
    • Performs prophylaxis, restorations, extractions, crowns, simple endodontic procedures.

    Qualifications

    • Graduate of ADA Accredited Dental School.
    • Must possess a valid DDS/DMD License to practice in California.
    • Active California Dental License & BLS Certification DEA License.
    • 1 to 2 years of experience in general dentistry (GPR or AEGD highly desired, and required for new graduates).
    • Must be able to treat adults, children of all ages, emergency patients, unhoused population and pregnant patients.
    • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
    • Prior experience working in community health environment highly desired.
    • Familiar with Dentrix Electronic Health Records a plus.
    • Computer skills required.
    • Must be willing to learn Electronic Health Records software.
    • Must possess good interpersonal skills to maintain and establish good relationships with dental team and patients.
    • Excellent communication skills.
